When do you send your Christmas cards?

I write them out of the Thanksgiving holiday and send them the first week of December. Part of the reason I send them so early, is that I only go back to MA for about a week and I like to let everyone know the dates so that we can start making plans. I follow up with phone calls the second week of December for the get togethers.

The few that I manage to send are usually last minute. My family and friends that know and love me forgive me though, they know I justt can't get my act together.

I usually fill out my cards over Thanksgiving and send them out the first week of December but since we will be in Disney World this year for Thanksgiving it will be later.

I usually wait to write out my cards after Thanksgiving, and after the tree/decorations are up. I love spending a few evenings writing them out, with the tree lit up, watching it snow outside, and enjoying a cup of hot cocoa while listening to Christmas music. I send out about 40, and buy special cards for close family which reminds me, I need to get those...and holiday stamps!!
