When do you pay the down payment?

Quick question. With the current promotion at SSR where your use year is not until June. Do you actually not close until June? If so when do you pay the down payment?

We paid a $500 fee when we signed the paperwork, and paid the rest of the downpayment fee within 30 days.

The 500$ is a holding fee, to hold the points for you, and the rest of the downpayment was due 30 days later.

My guide told me we could even stretch out the remaining 10% over teh 6 months until closing. We would have to put the intial $500 down, though.
