If you book excursions at the 60-day out mark, or any time between then and the time you cruise, do you pay for them at the time of booking, or do they get added to your shipboard account? Thanks!

I found my own answer on the DCL web site :p This is what I copied and pasted from there:

"Payment for confirmed excursions is conveniently billed directly to your shipboard account. We unfortunately will not be able to accept payment in advance".

Although they don't take advance payment, can't you "prepay" for the items by making a deposit towards your shipboard credit in advance? (I'm not sure what the exact term is.)

I was hoping to "prepay" for our excursions by doing this. Our tab will be big enough without the excursions! The wine and adult beverages sure do add up, not to mention photos, gift shop, internet, tips, etc.

Mark, I think you're right about that! I know you can give shipboard credits as a gift to someone who's sailing, as well as do the same for yourself, so if someone wanted to "pre-pay" for their excursions, they could do it that way.

Great tip!! :)
