When do you pack?

When does everyone start packing. We leave Saturday morning and haven't started packing yet. We are taking our three girls(5,7,9) with. I feel like I should have started already.

ha! ours is 6 months away & I wanna pack! I already have 3 out of 6 outfits planned (little nuts I know)

we are leaving in August and DD asked last week if she could start packing! I told her she was nuts!!!!!!!!!!! (I do have a huge rubbermaid container full of new clothes, socks, and other stuff ready to pack already!)
we are leaving on a Tuesday nite and will probably pack the Sunday before we go.

I had to pack my upcoming trip a week ahead of time since I was going on a business trip right before. I am stuck in Phoenix for the next 3 days during an internal audit- then it is MOUSE TIME!

We leave on the 23rd of May and I am half packed. The rest of the stuff is sitting on the suitcases...

Been like this since the first week of April. Of course we have been getting t-shirts and pirate stuff together for the past 6 months.

I'm in the process of packing now and I leave in 13 something days. I started boxes several months ago. One was for suitcase, one for carry-on, one for purse, and one to ship down. Just shipped the box today and ordered water from Netgrocer.

We usually always pack one or two days before we go. My wife does most of the packing for herself and the boys. I'm in charge of packing the camera gear (you'd be amazed at how much work that can be) and the other electronics (2 Nintendo DSes, 1 video player, 2 mp3 players, headphones, GPS, and Kindle). She just packs stuff - clothes, toiletries, that sort of junk.

We leave tomorrow and I packed yesterday A few reasons... it's warm here so we're already wearing the clothes we're bringing, plus I would forget what was in there and have to take it all out anyway if I did it too far ahead!

(It took a lot longer than I thought it would though.)

I am an absolute Virgo and start packing at least two months before any trip. I'm just cool like that.

Although I like to start packing (or at least planning... with laundry loads and what to wear before leaving and such) about a week in advance, I think more importantly for me is a list.

I start making a list of things to bring far in advance... months before if I feel like it! I keep the list near me at all times, so you might like to keep it in your purse or wallet or something. Write everything you need to bring under categories, like clothes, outerwear, kids' toys, snacks, toiletries, etc. (I have an index card for each category.)

Inevitably, you'll be dreaming of Disney at some random point in the day and think, "ooh...I need to pack ___." Write it down immediately so you don't forget! You'll feel better when it comes down to the day before, as you check everything off the list, and you're less likely to have that feeling like, "haven't I forgotten something?" when you're en route.

I just packed everything I need (minus what I use everyday) last night.

I'm 19 days out! I told DBF to hurry upan get me things he wants to pack that he won't need in the next 2ish weeks. I'm trying my hardest to stick to the least amount of bags possible due to baggage limits. I think as an avid over packer I'm doing pretty well, so far I have one carry on and half a big suit case and I know DBF won't need tons of room so I should be okay!

We leave Saturday to WDW too. I have started packing now. Packing the clothes we would not be wearing this week. Plus packing the backpack for the parks with ponchos, autograph books, etc.

we leave May 30th and I can not wait to start packing either...I will probably take the suitcase out a week before and start laying our clothes on the bed.

I have pretty much purchased everything we need. just a few odds and ends.

I think I should either start packing or panicking tonight seeing as how my car will need to be packed up by 5:30 pm on Thursday.

we're leaving on the 23rd too. You are way ahead of me w/the packing though. DD has her stuff laid out - I just have my list ready. Will start packing this weekend probably.
