We had late seating. We had a table for 10 (our group and an unfriendly family of 5). Unfortunately, the father in the other group was terribly picky and had to keep sending EVERYTHING....I mean EVERYTHING back, sometimes 2 or three times. No wonder our waiters were always grumpy and not very friendly. Our dinners took about 2 hours. Sometimes more, sometimes less. By the end of the week, we were just getting in as early as we could, eating as fast as we could and leaving as soon as we were finished. Our tablemates were really miserable to sit with, so we really gave up trying to be sociable after the second dinner. Most people begin eating at around the same time, but depending on your servers, how big your table is, and how fast you eat, dining durations really vary. Sometimes there is a little show around dessert time, but we usually skipped out on those, as we are seasoned cruisers, and Disney's were really lame compared to others we've seen. I would really count on at least an hour to hour and a half for dinner. Animator's Palate is longer, as the servers are supposed to be serving your courses to different scores of music. That was a very long dinner.
