When do you have to cancel an ADR to avoid $10 pp fee?

I am trying to put our ADRS together for our trip and I am getting nervous about how many on our list have the $10 fee. When do you have to cancel to avoid the fee. I am afraid someone will get hurt or sick or the kids will insist on going back to a different park.

So for example if I schedule CRT on Monday at 6pm, do I have to cancel by 6pm Sunday? Or anytime on Sunday until midnight? Or is it Saturday?

According to the Disney website you would have to cancel by Sunday. But according to the information from people who have been there, and those who have asked, and many of those who have called (although some of the phone agents say 24 hours) you would have to cancel by Saturday. So the info we have isn't really helpful. I'd go with Saturday to be sure, especially with CRT, where you'll be charged the full cost of the meal if you miss it.
