Was wondering when you typically will eat lunch and typically eat dinner? Does it make a huge difference to you whether it's TS or CS as to when you eat?
Is it planned or "whenever we're hungry" type of thing?

We're more of the "when we're hungry" types and it's usually CS. We live in the Central time zone, so when we get to CA we're typically hungry for meals earlier than most. The one problem we had was on EE days. We were over at Critter Country just after regular opening around 10:00 and couldn't find anything open. We had to backtrack to find something.

It's ususally a whenever we are hungry, although I do plan some PS's at Carnation Cafe and such. We almost always eat lunch around 1pm as I like to make sure the kids are good and hungry. If we eat before noon, they pick around and don't eat much.

Dinner we usually have atleast one PS, but we eat dinner later at home between 7-8 just because of activites and stuff going on so we usually eat around those times at DL too! It works great because they are the "off" times and we usually don't have much of a wait!

i always found myself eating at the French Market... and usually leave the park to eat dinner since i never stay in the park the entire day yet.

To add to what ALbort said, I love the French Market but I only eat there for lunch since my french dip that I get is only for lunch, it's not on the dinner menu!

We usually like to eat lunch a little early, like around 11:30 to try to avoid some of the crowds. Also so that we will be hungry for a yummy treat/snack around 3. For dinner we also try to eat at off times but usually end up planning around parades or other activities we have planned.

If you eat at regular lunch/dinner times the lines can be longer for food than for some of the rides.

What we like to to is hang out at DL until it gets crowded - about noonish - then we hop over to DCA and hit White Water Snacks at the GCH. We then hang out at DCA for the afternoon, sometimes hitting White Water again before we head back (we really love White Water Snacks) at about 5ish.

We usually plan for one "big" meal per day... Eg: if we go to the BB for lunch, dinner tends to be CS and vice versa. Having to make PS arrangements helps to dictate when we stop to eat. If we feel peckish in between, we snack on a piece of fruit or something similar. Allowing for one PS per day allowed us all that fun Disney dining experience, but still kept our budget in tact. :)

Hope that helps!

I swear they put something in the air there because I am always hungry! I don't eat breakfast or snack much at home but there....all I want to do is eat. We do eat when we want to , not by the clock .

If we had something for breakfast before the park opens then we usually wait til after 1pm to eat lunch. No one is really hungry before and it is less crowded. Then if it's on a night were the park closes at 8pm we usually just snack on popcorn, churros etc and might grab something from DTD after the park closes.

If the park opens early and stays open late then we usually skip the early morning breakfast and eat at the Riverbelle Terrace to have Mickey Pancakes about 10:30 or so. After we've gone on a few rides. Dh loves that Mark Twain plate too. He has something for the potatoes and swears they "smoke" them. I don't know. That usually counts as Breakfast and lunch and then we eat an early dinner like about 5 or whenever the kids start complaining. We snack inbetween. Sometimes we are so busy on the attractions time gets away from us and we don't eat the first time til late in the day so I guess you could say we eat when we are hungry but these are just my average days.

We don't eat at many TS restaurants because ds3 is insanely wild and impatient at them so we figure why have a fight at a meal in Disneyland. Have to wait til he grows up a little. Crazy guy.

We a big breakfast in the morning, eat some popcorn and snacks throughout the day and eat dinner in the evening.

We usually grad a quick breakfast at Blue ribbon Bakery, maybe once or twice we will do a character breakfast. But for lunch and dinner my DH is very picky when it comes to food, and I do not eat fast food at all, so with that combo, we usually book PS about 2 months in advance for all our lunches and dinners. This way we can choose our times and get in and eat at that time. My DS7 loves it cause then theres no wait. We always get lunch at 12 noon and dinner at 6:30.
