I had to vote for a couple months for the following reasons

Jan - love to take DS#2 for quick b-day trips although current airfare makes it cost prohibative
June - now that the kids are getting older, the very begining of the summer makes sense for us although hate using more points as well as dealing with the heat
Oct - love the fall & MNSSHP plus its my b-day
late Nov/Dec - our absolute favorite time to go. Low points, perfect weather, low crowds, Christmas decorations and celebrations, fewer days that the kids have to miss school because of holiday. I can't think of one reason we don't like to go this time of the year

OK, I voted March, April, July and August (and got the first votes for March, July and August). We're about to start our 2nd spring break trip in 3 days which starts in March & runs into April and our summer vacations the past few years have been in August because that works best for us right now but we've been known to also go at the very end of July too. We went once in January which was really fun but I doubt we'll get a chance to do that again as we now plan a ski trip in January instead....We also went once over Memorial Day but I think that one is also a long shot to get to go again any time soon.

This year we're using DVC on site and off (HHI & VB) in, January, April, June, July, August, October and December.

Right now we go in late August. Our kids are on Summer Vacation still and the points are less than earlier in the Summer. So, I answered August.

HOwever, we would go October or December. We would also go during the first 1/2 of February.

I'm stuck going only when school is out as I have a 17 year old daughter. So for now that is Spring Break, late summer and over Christmas.

Current plan is to make maximum use out of an annual pass and go Christmas 2012, Spring Break in 2013 and late summer of 2013.

I've been in December. I don't need to go again. I've been in July and I hate the heat.

We'll try early May for Flower and Garden Festival in the future. We have a reservation for the marathon in January and in October for Food & Wine.

When Do You DVC?

I don't really find an easy answer for this question. For WDW, our travel is fairly consistent: OCT, DEC and JAN. Thus, an Oct UY was a clear winner for our initial DVC purchase at SSR.

However -- our DLR visits can be quite spontaneous "anytime/year round" and we've been known to hop off to HI "for the weekend" on a whim just because an airfare sale called us. We tend to visit DLR between APR-OCT and HI most often in SEPT-NOV.

We also visit Epcot most weekends during Flower & Garden for the concerts (a benefit of our living in Orlando)

I voted for May and December, I love going for the Flower and Garden Festival, I go the beginning of May and I enjoy December for the holiday decorations.

I am a teacher, so I am limited to school vacations. I actually really enjoy the summer-late July/August.

We are mainly early June users... like June 2-10 type of trips. DH is a teacher and coach, and we can't go much on winter or spring breaks due to his coaching and boys' sports. School lets out first Friday in June. We leave immediately thereafter to catch a week before "peak" season. While it is warm, we've adjusted and we love it. We will likely continue using our points in this timeframe in the future.

Typically we do our family trips in January. THe kids are usually out of school for 3 days the week of Martin Luther King's birthday. We do lots of parks during that trip b/c crowds are low and weather is cool.

In the summer, DH and I like to sneak away without the kids. We mostly relax at the resort and enjoy the restaurants and stuff...less parks...its TOOOOOO HOT!

I said Feb since that is when we have gone the majority of time during kids winter break. Now I have 2 in college that is starting to change - this year we are trying NYE week for 10 nights. I can see it is already changing but it is always nice to get out of the freezing weather and dread of Feb. even the years when WDW was on the cooler side. Love doing parks when the weather is in the 60's - 70's very comfortable.
