We (friends) were just talking and decided to gather the troops and take another spin to WDW. It has been 10 months since we've been there and it seems like years. Our problem is coming up with a date that we can agree on. There will be four women (hubbies don't want to go AGAIN!), so we're planning to go on our own AGAIN! We are considering either January or June (like the second week).
We usually go in October or August.
For those of you who are seasoned January/June WDW travelers, what are the pros and cons of traveling during those times.

Now--where would you recommend staying during that time for four 50 year olds? We have stayed at the POFQ several times, but DH and I stayed (when I got him to go) at the BWI and loved it.

Thanks for any insights.

If I were you, I would go in January when the crowd is low and the weather is not as hot.

I would go to the Rent/Trade Board and rent from a DVC member a dedicated 2-br at Wilderness Lodge Villa or Beach Club Villa. These have 1 king bed in the Master br, 1 pull-out sofa in the living room, and 2 queen size beds in the 2nd br. All Old Key West 2-br units have this type of set-up too. It will be fun for all of you to have some common space to gather with washer/dryer and a full kitchen. Just a thought. Have a great time!!
