When do villas open up to non DVC members

Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times already. I have never booked this far in advanced and am looking to book a 1bdrm villa from Nov.29th 2012 thru Dec. 8th 2012. We have stayed at Bay Lake Towers twice now but maybe want to try Boardwalk or Beachclub. Thanks so much in advance for helping

DVC's parent owns some points and rents those through CRO but sometimes they do not release them right away. Also, as members trade out for non-DVC locations such as a cruise, rooms are moved to CRO to pay for it. I think it's a little too early for the dates you are looking for if they are not showing availability.

I have never seen them available through CRO before the resorts are available to members at the 11-month mark. So, you should try again in about a month.

It is usually about 10 months out. Just keep trying to book it online and eventually it will show up.

We have booked thru CRO for cash as early as 10 months out .We have also seen rooms not released to almost 7 months out..

They open up to DVC members only at 11 months out, then to the general public for cash ressies sometimes after that - anywhere from 7-10 months out. Check daily - BWV and BCV are the 1st to sell out as they're extremely popular, and very limited in number of villas. Good luck!

btw, BWV BW view villas are ONLY available to book on DVC points - not even with DVC member price.
