when do they start decorating the resorts and parks for christmas?

We are planning to go 11 days before thanksgiving in Nov, think they will be up? Never seen them there.

My guess would be that they would be up. They must put them up somewhere around the beginning of November. My family went one time right before Thanksgiving and they were up. That is the only time I have been when they were up but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Gorgeous! If you can swing a MVMCP go for it! So fun!

MK will start having the christmas decor up right after the last Halloween party. Resorts are very different.. we were there Nov 12-18th last year and I don't remember seeing any at POFQ. The GF gingerbread house was up but opened fully right after we left. Epcots christmas tree was up by the 16th, I went to Epcot a lot during that trip and I don't remember seeing the tree up until Nov 16th when we were walking to Norway for our breakfast ADR. It really is different each year.. In 2013, we went Nov 6-12th and AK and DHS both had their xmas trees up by then but I don't remember seeing them last trip. The resorts are on all different schedules.

Except for the large tree in Town Square the MK will be fully decorated by the first MVMCP. DHS will be decorated for the start of Osborne Lights which will probably begin on Nov 6. Epcot's holiday activities (Candlelight Processional, Storytellers, IllumiNations holiday ending) do not begin until the day after Thanksgiving.

The resorts are decorated one at a time during November, but there is no announced schedule other than they are all done by Thanksgiving Day. One day a resort will be undecorated and the next morning all the holiday decor is up. The gingerbread house in the GF takes much longer and you can watch the progress day by day.

So thank you for those relies as I really want to see as many decorations as possible... Any dissers out there that went last year around that time and stood at the Beach Club Resort, that is our resort we would like to stay at... wondering if they are going to have them up by the 15th of Nov, we leave the 25th... Is the weather still very warm that time of year? Never been in the winter months, only summer which is miserable.

I replied to your question on the Beach Club FAQ thread- the resort decorations are done by lottery order, so the resorts are decorated at different times each year, but as a previous poster mentioned, by Thanksgiving. They were up at the Beach Club last year on Nov 25, they were the dead last in the decoration lottery.
