When do the waterparks close yearly?

One waterpark will be open for sure. What they usually do is close one for refurbishing from around November through early January with the other one staying open,in early January that park will then close and the one that was closed for the last two months will reopen.I believe they can rotate or change the parks refurbishing schedule but I think BB is the one that's usually open from November through early January. The parks can close if the weather gets very cold like highs in the 50's with lows in the 20's or 30's but in November it rarely if ever gets that cold.

The internal calendar shows Saturday October 29 as the last day TL will be open. At this time my guess is that TL will reopen on Sunday January 8 with that being the first day BB will be closed.

It is normal to close TL first as BB is effectively decorated for the holidays, so there is no extra cost for holiday decorations for TL.

We keep the water in all the slides and pools around 80F (27C) except for Shark Reef which does not have heaters. What you want is a day that will be bright and sunny and preferably not windy.

If you go on a day that is heavily overcast you will not be able to take advantage of any radiant heating (from the sun) or on a windy day (especially with a dry wind from the North) you will get hit by wind chill.

But a day with the highs in the mid-50s or above which is sunny and calm most people (at least from Northern climates) should be comfortable.
