When do the ship shops open on 1st day and rest of 4 day cruise?

I love to shop for merchandise and this being our first cruise, I think I'll go nuts! Anyway, when do the shops open and when do they close at night? Is there a better time to go? Do you ever shop on the first day? thanks.

The shops cannot be open while in port so you cannot shop until after they set sail.

Just returned from the Wonder and the shops were allowed to open at 6:00 p.m. on the day we sailed, and I believe they stayed open until at least 11:00 p.m. every night. But, just remember, when the shops close on the night before you arrive in port, that is it. They will not re-open. Only Shutters is allowed to be open on debarkation day.

Try to avoid shopping the last evening as the shops get packed and lines very long and that must have item may be gone already....if you see something you want earlier in the the cruise...but it then!!!

There is only one place onboard to buy alcohol (other than bars) and it's by Diversions. You can NOT take it with you, it is dellivered to your stateroom on the last night.
