When do southern schools have fall break in October?

October 4 - October 10 here.

We have a two week break - 24 Sept to 9 Oct inclusive. But I don't think the Australian and NZ school holidays will have too much bearing on crowds though I do know quite a few families who are travelling to DW. More Australians and Kiwis go to DL.

Each state or NZ could be +/-1 week on that starting date.

Another group is the year round school systems. Our relatives in KY have year round school and October is a regular break point for them. So its not fall break, but they're out as part of the regular calendar. Its usually mid October.

I would think it was busy due to Mickey's halloween party and food and wine festival.

We were in Florida for years and they don't have fall breaks.

Our fall break is October 10-14. Some surrounding counties are the week prior to ours. Hope this helps.

We get the first 2 weeks in Oct. off here. We live just oustide of Nashville.

when your school districts realize they can save a ton of money by closing for a week in the fall, then you too will have a fall break.
