When do resort Christmas decorations go up?

We are going to be there 11/10-11/14, are any of the Christmas decorations going to be up yet? I know the Osbourne and the Castle lights get put up on the 8th, but I'm wondering about the GF gingerbread house and other resort decorations. TIA!

I think you might miss it...we were there last Nov 17-24. Nov 18th the Pop was decorated. We moved over to the Poly on the 18th and the morning of the 19th the Poly was decorated.

On Nov 18 the Gingerbread House was up in the GF

Nov 17 the AKL didnt have any decorations at all

Nov 24 the CR, the BWI, the YC/BC were all decorated

NOTHING is guaranteed till Thanksgiving week other than the MK decorated ( except for the big tree which doesn't go up anymore till after the 1st weekend in December).Osborne lights are also up on Nov 8th this year.All the other parks and resorts will be in phases of decorating to be up and finished for Thanksgiving.For your trip-Some stuff won't be up, some will, and some may appear overnight.As for the GF gingerbread house, it may still be in the process if going up

They begin going up immediately after the last MNSSHP. I don't know exactly when they're done, but think that by the beginning of December, it's all there. They're gone around Jan 10-12.

Actually they are generally coming down FAST after Jan 3rd..Last yeaar was anomaly and the decorations were left up till Jan 10-12th because of the extreme cold weather and staffing issues to remove them.

I went early to mid January every year for YEARS and they came down little by little but were always totally gone by Jan. 10-12. I know this because I always arrive after everyone else has finished Christmas and got to WDW to find it in full swing, which kinda irked me and is one of the big reasons I quit going at that time. I'd always be thinking, "January 9 and still, here we are with trees."

Last two years, I have not been in January. But I promise you that it was not an anomaly.

It has also been extremely cold in January before. It isn't always, but on occasion, it happens. Always be ready for hot or cold.

You're right. Most of the resort inside decorations come down 1/3-5.
