My family and I will be traveling to Disney in September, and was wondering when we could expect to see Halloween decorations go up. I know there is no guaranteed way to know an exact date; but was hoping to get some insight from people that have been this time of year.
Thank you so much

You'll be there during MNSSHP, if you've never been and can budget it, do it! It's so much fun! DH and I have done it several times and love dressing up and trick or treating like kids again! Plus the Boo To You parade is great, all the characters are dressed up in costumes! We went as Belle and Beast this year!! Got my costume off etsy from cjscafe I think is the shop, she does all these awesome Disney costumes that aren't slutty and are apron/wrap style so they literally fit any size. Please note that I do not own this shop or work for, so I don't want anyone to think I'm advertising, it's just a tip based on my positive experience! image.jpgimage.jpg

I was there last August and I want to say it was during the night of August 24 into the 25th that I saw the halloween decorations go up. It was pretty much done by the time I left on August 26th. It will be in full swing if you're arriving this September :)

I'm excited to hear this! I love Halloween. We are going Labor Day week. I was really bummed to see that the Halloween parties won't be starting that early, but as long as it's decorated I will be happy!

Sorry it was ajscafe not cj, I just pulled it up. I can't wait for this year, I am already trying to figure out who I wanna be!! image.jpg

If you're going in sept it's likely they'll be doing the party, I know for sure they have dates by the middle of the month bc we had to go earlier last year than we normally do and still did the party!

Unless they add dates, the OP will miss the MNSSHP. This year's first party is September 15th, and the OP said she's going Labor Day week.

Our WDW trips are always the week leading up to Labour Day and the decoeations have slways gone up middle if that week. So that would mean somewhere in the Sept 1st to 3rd range this year.
