Now that I have booked for April 1 on the 3 day Wonder, When do I sign up for kids oceaners club?
Do I need to sign up for all activitys? both adult and children?
How and when do I sign up for a off ship outing.
is it a free for all, first come first serve,
sorry for so many questions.
Last one, Do most people just take dramamine before you sail? I have never had motion sickness , Flying train car ect. However I don't want to ruin a 3 day first ever cruise for me or the 2 kids 10 and 17
Thank you for you information. I have been on these boards reading and reading such great stuff

You sign up for Oceaneer's Club any time the first afternoon or evening. You do not need to sign up for each activity--you just sign up that your child will be participating. It doesn't fill up, so you don't have to rush to this one (hooray!) Ditto for COmmon Grounds for your 17 year old. There will be an "open house" or "get aquainted" party in each program the first night. Ooops...you said club, but you have a 10 year old. That will be in the Lab...same info applies.

I have never taken Dramamine, never needed it. I get violently motion sick on small boats, but never had a problem on the magic.

If you want to sign up for off shore excursions, you will recieve a package in the mail about 60 days before sailing with a description and the price list. You can book on line, call DCL (the number is in the package) or wait and book when you get on board. All excursions have a charge, and all are "first come, first served."

There are some adult activities that require a ticket (charged activities.) They are noted in the Navigator which is delivered to your cabin each night. The free activities require no sign up.

To avoid the long lines that form for Oceaneers registration sign up as soon as you get on the boat.

We've always signed up for the kid programs after all other sign-ups.....the longest line we waited in was 2 families ahead of us, and they handed us the forms to complete while we were waiting. It might be that we were just lucky (9 times?). THe club/lab sign ups go over a much longer period than things like Palo or dining changes, and they will not fill up on you. It takes maybe 10-15 minutes to sign in a family of kids, including the information form, getting the beeper, name tag, etc. There is a short wait after you do all the paperwork while they put your info in the computer.
