When do I get access to my 2010 pts?

I had a better handle on how DVC works when we first joined b/c I was constantly reading these boards! Now, could someone help me with this?

We have a December use year. Our 2007 and 2008 points are gone. We have borrowed from our 2009 points (for a visit in April, 09), with 15 points remaining. We have friends that would like to visit with us on this April trip for 2 or 3 nights. Would I have access to our 2010 points? At what point do I get access to those points? Is it the beginning of the calendar year 2009, or the beginning of our use year, December of 2009?

You cannot borrow from your 2010 points until Dec 1 2009.

Points may be borrowed into the preceding Use Year so for your DEC 2010 Use Year allotment of points to be borrowed that would have to be borrowed in on
Dec 1 2009 - Nov 30 2010.

Use Year is not calendar year. Your Use Year is always Dec 1 - Nov 30.

Your 2008 Use Year begins on Dec 1 2008 and ends Nov 30 2009

Your 2009 Use Year begins on Dec 1 2009 and ends Nov 30 2010

Your 2010 Use Year begins on Dec 1 2010 and ends Nov 30 2011

You cannot borrow from your 2010 points until Dec 1 2009.

For a stay 12/1/09 or after. You could book a trip in January 2009 for December 2009 at your home resort and borrow 2010. Everything goes by date of stay, not when you make the reservation.
