when do DTD buses start running to resorts?

We have a BBB reservation at DTD at 10:20 and a CRT ADR at 1:10pm the same day.

We are thinking the easiest route to get back to MK is a bus to the Contemporary from DTD, but I'm not sure how soon they start running at regular intervals during the day to resorts.

We are willing to take a taxi if needed. Will that be our best option?

I'd definitely take a cab for your purposes. DtD buses will be running by then, but I wouldn't characterize that as "running at regular intervals". You could get lucky and catch a bus in 5 minutes, or wait 45 minutes at DtD for a bus. With a schedule of any kind, I'd take a cab.

Thanks. :) Now a stupid question...where would we find a cab at DTD? Out in the parking lot?

I've always driven to DtD, but I've always seen lots of cabs in the parking lot there. I seem to remember they had their own waiting area near the entrance. There may be multiple places they gather to get business (since there are multiple entrances to DtD), but I don't think you'd have to look hard to see one once you walk out of one of the entrances.

Thank you. I'll be sure to carry extra cash with me that day for a cab. :)

Just another option...

Go to the bus stop and get on the first resort bus you can (to anywhere). Then transfer from that resort to MK. It's not a great option, heck, not even a good option. But it MIGHT work. Cab is probably your best bet.

You'll have no problem getting a bus to CR after 11 a.m., but you should allow 90 minutes to get there. That's because a bus leaving Marketplace will stop at PI, possibly wait there 5 or 10 minutes for a driver change, and then stop at TL. It can be 30 minutes from the time you get on the bus before it even starts heading to the resort.

The main taxi stand at DTD is by the Flower Pot Fountain between World of Disney & Basin, which is very close to BBB. You can just walk through WoD to the exit near the fountain; just ask a cm for direction. You don't need to carry cash; Mears taxis accept credit cards.

Thanks for all the info. :thumbsup2
