When do Christmas decorations go up?

Hi, my brother and I are planning for next year. He has been seeing all the Halloween stuff and wants to go then. I have been watching the Christmas stuff and want Christmas. I wondered if we could both be happy. Please tell me when Christmas goes up?

From what I have read, decorations go up first at MK after the last Halloween party and are up at all parks and resorts by around Thanksgiving.

As others have stated - the MK will be all decked out the morning after the last Halloween party which is Nov 1st this year so on the 2nd Christmas season begins. The other parks are a little slower and it tends to be closer to Thanksgiving for their Christmas transformations.

Watch the youtube video and be amazed at what is accomplished between the last guest leaving and the first guests the next morning. We experienced it first hand last year and I couldn't believe it. Even the Jingle Cruise was going on Nov 1st.

Definitely not a parade, because they don't do the Christmas parade during regular park hours until after the last MVMCP.

We've been to Disney in September 2010 and September 2016, so we have only seen it decorated for fall/Halloween.
We're going next month and can't wait to see the Christmas decorations!!
