When Do Campsite Reservations Tend to Fill Up For Christmas?

Looking to stay at an RV spot next Christmas so I was wondering when the sites tend to fill up, if they haven't already.

Usually a year in advance or more. You can sometimes piece together a stay as some have done on here. You can call and reserve a campsite up to 499 days out.

I checked some random dates of Friday 12/23 arriving and leaving Friday 12/30 and only Tent and Full sites show availability. Premiums and Preferreds are not available. You can always make a reservation, pay one night's deposit, and let your plans firm up. As long as you cancel more than 5 days before arrival, you get the deposit back.

Also don't lose hope that you won't get the dates you want. As Ed points out you can reserve a shorter (maybe less ideal) date/site pay the one month and check back regularly (once you hit the 6 month mark, you should almost check daily!). As other peoples plans change you might be able to get your ideal dates/sites. The downside, of course, is that it is possible that you won't get your ideal date/sites.

We did this one year and we managed to get the full date and site type that we wanted but up until about the last week there was a "Day" that was in question.

I got a New Year's reservation for this year in August - September. I had been looking, suddenly it was there, then never saw another one (looking for my sister).
