When Do Airline Specials Come Out For Air Tran?

I'm looking at booking a flight for late November, early December. I don't want to book until I can get a better deal. Do you know when they come out?

Also, we are flying out on Monday and returning on Monday. Is there a difference in prices for different days?

You might want to sign up to receive their weekly e-mails. Most airlines have that....I get one at least weekly from SW. Some specials mandate that you fly on certain days only and sometimes weekends are not included......and sometimes you must stay over on a Saturday night, but that has pretty much been dropped.

I get frequent Airtran "sale" emails by getting on their email list (on their website). It's well worth it!

I am also watching for that time frame. Last time we booked for Nov/Dec, we booked in May and got a great rate. I do know that Monday's can be a little more pricey than midweek travel, but you've already got the Saturday night stay covered. Good Luck!!

It seems like Air Tran is always having a sale. I've found though that the sale doesn't always apply to the flights you want. I played the game for our May trip. I paid $135 last December, it was around $150 around the 1st of the year for May. I let it go and it went up to $247! One day I tried it and it went down to $201, I decided to buy it. It's been over $600 for over a month! I guess our flights are close to full.
