Have you ever had a dream, where you went to a disney park and it turned into a nightmare?

Last night I dreamed, I went to Disney World with my family (mom, stepfather, younger sister, and me (i'm 26 so my parents are definitely still in control of park touring)) and they only went to some of the insignificant play areas Swiss Family Robinson treehouse, Honey i shrunk the ... playground, Playground in AK, each day and then left the parks (me with them) without doing anything else. I kept asking could we do something we could only do at Disney...but we never did.........queue plot revel ending music

Last month I dreamed I went with my family to the Magic Kingdom and they spent the entire time on Main Street:scared:. We didn't even see wishes :(......................

Do you DISers have random Disney dreams like this or am I the only nut who dreams about Disney vacations not done properly?

Had one just the other night that it was our first morning of vacation. We weren't at a Disney resort but some sort of condo/timeshare kind of place with a full kitchen. I was making breakfast (something I NEVER do on vacation). DH and DSs were asking what the plan was. I was like, "Oh, figured we'd play it by ear. Whatever park you guys feel like going to. We'll figure it out after breakfast." No fastpasses booked. Nothing. Nada. Their jaws all dropped. They stared at me. Then started getting all mad at me and couldn't believe it and what were we going to do and how the vacation was ruined and oh, my gosh, and on and on.

In real life, I'm the uber planner in our family and they are all basically the ones to show up and say, "Okay, where are we going?" I have everything all set and they just follow along.

:rotfl:I've had similar dreams. I'm the planner and everyone just asks me where they need to be. Dream interpretation - we're control freaks

I had a dream once that I forgot to tell my boss I was going on vacation and called her when I got down there....then realized I didn't have any money with us :scared::scared:

My mom and I are both Disney fanatics who LOVE Disneyland. I haven't had any weird dreams lately, but on a few occasions I've had a dream we're there and my mom doesn't want to do anything fun. Example: I would want to go on some Fantasyland rides and eat at Blue Bayou, but she wouldn't want to do any of that. When I tell her about my dreams, she laughs and says how ridiculous they are. Then we "argue" about who loves Disneyland more. FYI-When we do go to DL, all she wants to do is go on all the rides.

My all-time worst WDW nightmare was that we never got to the parks. Every day, we'd try to leave the resort and every conceivable problem would stop us. Someone would leave something in the room. We'd go back for it, and find our door wouldn't open. We'd have to go to the front desk, and they wouldn't be able to help us. Then, finally, we'd get back in our room, and we'd decide we needed to change clothes, or take a nap, or eat lunch before heading back out. We would miss every bus, or get lost because the bus stop was too far away. When we finally got on the bus, it would go to the wrong park, or only go to other resorts. If we actually got to a park, we would realize we forgot our tickets back at the resort. Repeated every. single. day.

I think I woke up from that one shaking, in a cold sweat.

I would dream about not being able to fit everything back into the suitcases when it was time to go home. Don't have that problem anymore! LOL

I never actually get through the gates in my WDW dreams. Various things keep me from getting through the turnstiles.

I had a dream that it was football season and the Saints had beaten the Cowboys. I was at Epcot and it was filled with Cowboy's fans, and since I was wearing a Saint's shirt, everyone was being mean. The CM's wouldn't let me on the rides, and I couldn't even buy a different shirt, because security wouldn't let me in the stores. I ended up walking back to the hotel in the rain because the bus driver said I couldn't get on his bus. It was very, very strange!!

Mine was similar. I actually got into Animal Kingdom, but a dozen things kept happening that prevented me from riding Expedition Everest. When I finally reached it, the queue was like an illogical M.C. Escher drawing, with paths and staircases going off in many directions. Perhaps like the staircases in the Haunted Mansion.

Going to AK without riding Everest? Definitely a nightmare!! :scared1:

I always have dreams I need to leave for the airport yet I have not packed yet. Like some force is preventing me from packing and then I freak out I'm gonna miss my flight, then I wake myself up :joker:

I haven't been able to get to any of the parks in an embarrassingly long time. For a while I was having this recurring dream where I was finally able to hitch a ride with somebody to WDW. We just enter the Magic Kingdom and the person I'm with turns to me and says, "Ok, you have 20 minutes then we have to leave." I panic and start running around the park trying to see and do EVERYTHING in 20 minutes. :faint:

I mostly dream about plans going haywire. Forgetting about ADRs, missing a flight. Not packing the custom shirts I worked so hard on. Stuff like that.

I regularly have dreams about being late to work, and about getting yelled at by guests for things that aren't my fault.

I have one of these nightmares everytime Free Dining gets released. I dream that I can't get into a moderate room that fits 5 and my Disney dreams will be crushed! I never seem to wake up from this one.

YES! I have that one all the time! Sorry you have it, but I'm glad I'm not the only one!

I've had these...

I go down to WDW, only to realize I haven't planned at all, or forget my binder and pins, or books or camera. Oh I could go on and on...

Mine is always something along the lines of getting to Disney and finding out they renovated everything and turned it into one big carnaval/street fair. The whole "World" had nothing but cotton candy, hotdog stands, funnel cake shops and the only rides are the ferris wheel and bumper cars, with a few others thrown in as fillers lol

Well I never had a dream/nightmare about it but we went to Disney last week and both me ad my daughter ended up with the flu our 2nd day there- I wish I could say that was only a dream but unfortunately it was reality!
