When did you start letting your dd.......

DD, 9 needs to, but she isn't into that stage yet. She already has a slight mustache and her eyebrows are pretty bad. I think I may mention to her that when she feels she is ready to let me know and I will teach her how.

She has her Dads thick dark hair, I am the opposite. Just brought it up to DH and of course he is clueless about it.

Between this, puberty and the whole issue that she is going to need a training bra soon, I think I will be having enough anxiety to last me a while.

We're Italian, so we've got dark hair on our legs and arms. My sister never really noticed, but she really needed to shave her underarms. I had mentioned it gently to her when she was 11, and she just kept putting it off. So one day I grabbed a razor, dragged her into the bathroom and shaved them for her. She thought it was the funniest thing in the world, and has been shaving since.

Well, I remember when I shaved my legs for the first time.

My mom thought I was too young. I think I was in 5th or 6th grade. I took one of my mom's razors, locked myself in the bathroom and shaved my legs DRY - no water, no shaving cream, nothing. I took most of my skin off, but I was hairless.

OMG! I did the same thing and still have a scar to prove it! I was 11 or 12 and did it without asking my mom because I figured she wouldn't let me. When she saw my legs, she asked me if I had shaved my legs. She said that if I had asked her she would have let me do it and shown me how to do it.
