When did you "Grow Up?"

I thought at 16 when I lived on my own I was a grown-up, then again when I got married, had DS, bought a house, had DD, became my mentally ill Mothers Legal Guardian etc.....

In my late 30's I discovered that I was as a person with wants, desires & needs, not just a Mom, Wife and caregiver.....

I'm still the same Mom, Wife and caregiver but there is also a me that needs taking care of. When I started also taking myself into consideration is when I think I grew up a little bit.
