When did you get your low MCO fare on SWA?

Each year, we've gone to WDW in early May or late Jan./early Feb. We always fly SWA and it seems that they're never having one of their great $39 each way from Nashville (our nearest airport) to Orlando sales. This year, we're planning on going in late October and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that between now and then, that kind of sale will be on.
Has anyone booked one of SWA's really cheap fares to Orlando and, if so, do you remember what month you booked?

TIA!!!!

For my trip this past December, our fare was $79. A week before the flight, the fare dropped to $39. We just called SWA and they gave us a credit for the difference.

If SWA has a reasonable fare, I would just book it and then keep watching for it to drop.

We fly out of Louisville and it seems that SWA never lowers their rate from Louisville to Orlando. We usually have to pay $79 each way. They have lower rates out of Indianapolis; however, we don't want to chance driving two hours to Indy during January/February because of the uncertainty of road conditions at that time of year. I always keep checking SWA website "just in case" though!

:Pinkbounc I just noticed that I'm a "Mousesketeer" and I didn't even know it! Very cool!! (Well, I knew it in my heart but just hadn't seen it in print!)

In my experience, when the new dates are released the cheapest fares are not the rock bottom ones. The $49 fares usually come out after the date availability has been out for a little while.
