That you were a Disneyholic? My first trip to WDW was when I was but a wee little lad, but since that first time I walked down Main Street, rode the Jungle Cruise, was enthralled by the monorails, and experienced the other incredbile sights at the Magic Kingdom (there weren't any other parks at that time) I was hooked for life.
Were you a child when you knew that there was something different about you? Or did this symptom come on later in life.
Do others know that you have this problem, or do you keep it safely hidden away, only sharing with others of like sort of your Dis-order?

Sept. 2000: The minute I walked through the MK entrance, and faced the castle for the first time (as an adult with my children next to me). I had planned the ultimate family trip and thought it would be something we might do every few years or so. HA!! See my signature below to see how many times we've been since that first trip!!!

Hello, my name is Sammy and I'm a Disneyholic :wave2:

I like that.. DIS-order! :rotfl:

I don't ever remember a time that I wasn't addicted to Disney. Some of my earliest memories are of being a very young girl in the Magic Kingdom. My love has only grown with age. :goodvibes

I have more of a 'Dis' problem than a "WDW' problem. Spending way too much time on here.

Example, my soon to be 6 yr old dgd came home from school the other day and showed me the gap in her mouth where her tooth had been. I asked her how much the 'Tag Fairy' had left under her pillow. :sad2:

As far as Disney World goes, my first trip there was in 1984 as a young mother with three children. We have visited every year since.

It's the pixie dust. Try it one time and you're hooked. Recreational drug my butt. :sad2:

I didn't even have to make it into WDW to get hooked. The minute I saw the entrance gates to WDW, my addiction started. :thumbsup2

The first time I went as a child - You had me at my first view of the castle..

Problem???? Someone thinks being a Disneyholic is a problem? I'm surprised no one else picked up on that word. My and my family's first indication was when I was sitting on the living room floor one night staring intently at the MK guide map. DH: "What are you doing, dear?" Me: "I'm just finding out where all the restrooms are in the MK and seeing which ones I haven't been to yet." Both he and I got a startled look on our faces-that's when we both realized I was an incurable DIsneyholic.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have ourselves a winner! :lmao:

Oh boy, you've got it bad. Don't you realize that denial is one of the surest signs that there is indeed a problem. I think until you get this condition under control that you better limit yourself to no more than three or four trips to WDW a year. AND, make sure that you don't overly enjoy yourself more than you should. Once something like this gets out of hand, there's almost no stopping it. :scared1:

Problem? I don't have a problem...I can quit any time I want to....I just don't want to right now...:snooty:

I loved Disney as a kid, but wasn't really obsessed until DW and I moved to Florida in the late 70s. It was that first WDW trip that did it for me.:earsboy:

That also applies to being here no the DIS. I could easily walk away and never post another thread or another poll - I just don't want to. Last week I was away from my Pooter for 5 days, and never once was able to visit the DIS, and I proved that I could indeed survive.

When the ointment no longer worked....

about the first hour we were there and DH started his sentence with : "The next time we come here......." and we have been DW-ing ever since!

And I can quit any time I want but it just makes me feel SO HAPPY!

DH had to go to a convention at CSR (2003). I verrrrry reluctantly and with some derision  agreed to make it a family trip.

Walked into MK on day one, dd got to meet Snow White right away (who was absolutely hands down the best Snow White evah) and I almost burst into tears with happiness. :lovestruc That's all it took!

Now I spend an obscene amount of time thinking about WDW!!

:) Michele
