Probably the day I watched my first Disney "movie" in Edinburgh Scotland, it just took a long time for them to come up with the idea of DVC. We signed Jan 1 2001 and am considering a 28 point add to take us to 250 points.

Here is a link to the same poll on this board a few weeks ago. It may shed some light on the question.

Joined OKW in November of 91. None of the homes were complete yet except for the model....and we had to wear hard hats to go into the building! They told us we were the first members from Massachusetts...unfortunately that didn't get us any free points or anything!

We toured DVC in March '92 and joined in May. At that time, only Miller's Road was finished. The bridge next to Turtle Krawl was blocked off, but you could see the construction on Penninsular Road. It sure was peaceful back then... we have pics showing virtually nobody in the Turtle Krawl or pool areas.

We joined VB in '95, and had a "hard hat" tour before it opened.

Do the results of this poll reflect the general DVC sales figures?

Does anyone have access to such information?

I want to know the answer to this too ... so I'm bumping it up to keep it afloat.

I had to post. I became a DVC member after 2 mmillenium trips to the Beach Club.
My costs for the two week vacations equal my DVC investment!
