We eat there for dinner usually once every other trip.... sometimes it is better than others. However it is always fun to take the boat over and be "off the beaten path"... so I just went on ALL Ear's to see what the price for the dinner buffet had gone up to and WOW now they have lunch and that is not a buffet either. :scared1:

:rotfl: GOSH I FEEL DUMB. LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL All I saw was Lunch..and it said it was Pilot Program for their lunch. I was looking for Trail's End dinner. HAHAHAHA. THANKS

We ended up skipping our reservation there NYDay - couldn't bring myself to pay $26.99 per adult. Not sure if that was still under the holiday pricing or not. We love TE and its probably ds's favorite place, but that was more than we were willing to pay.

Dinner is sti the buffet, I believe breakfast is as well. Lunch has gone to an a la carte menu. Somehow, although I love it, I refuse to pay $6.50 for a bowl of their chili.

I believe it is 22.99 now. I remember when we would go and it was 16.99 then 18.99. We had more good meals there than bad there. It is just a different off the beaten place to eat. I have alway heard that the breakfast there is good. We have never tried it.

We're going to try the breakfast for the first time next trip. My son is going to do the Segway Tour after we eat. He's pretty excited after doing the Epcot one last trip. Can't wait to try Trails End!! :thumbsup2

Wilderness Back Trail Adventure Segway Tour
Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground

In summer 2007, a new Segway tour was introduced at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground called Wilderness Back Trail Adventures. Tour participants can take a Segway X2 Personal Transporter to view the scenery of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Wilderness Lodge.

The Adventures tours may be booked for 8:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday through Saturday (not available Sunday or Monday) and last two hours. Tours can consist of up to 10 people and meet at Fort Wilderness Meadows Bike Barn in Fort Wilderness. The cost is $85 per person. 15 percent discounts are currently being offered to Passholders, DVC Members and Disney Visa Cardholders.

Guests wishing to participate in the tour must be at least 16 years of age and be accompanied by an adult if under the age of 18. You must weigh between 100 and 250 pounds to ride the Segways. Expectant mothers and guests with special needs may not participate due to safety reasons. Payment in full by credit card is required at time of booking. If you need to cancel your tour, you must do so at least 48 hours prior to the start of the tour to receive a full refund. Tours can be booked by calling 407-WDW-TOUR.

Several people have mentioned that the breakfast buffet has gone downhill in both selection and quality. They do not have as many buffet items as they use to have and to me it's not worth the price any longer. We have not been back in 2 years for breakfast or dinner and we stay at Ft. Wilderness in an RV. So even with it being that convenient, it's still not worth it. IMO.
