When did they start calling them "Ding Dongs" again?

I saw Ding Dongs in Walmart yesterday and I haven't seen Ding Dongs since about 1970...When the name was changed to King Dons....

I'm in my 40's and we've always had Hostess Ding Dongs on the shelves around here. I grew up eating them for breakfast.

I don't recall ever seeing Ho Ho's until my late teens. I don't think they even taste the same as a Ding Dong.
