Just got back from Disney where I was shattered to see the Napolean at the France Pavilion has changed from its former incarnation into a generic pastry I can get at any bakery in Jersey.

When did they make this change and what was the thought process?? It was perfect. Waited all week to get it and was so let down.

I know, it is sad. It was changed when they opened up the new Les Halles counter service.

Was it not good tasting?? I am bummed about that.

WHAT?!?!? They screwed up the Napoleon?!?

You talking about the Napoleon at the Patisserie??

Oh.

My.

Gosh.

My 77-year-old mom is making another trip to WDW with us this summer and one of the PRIME things on her list is a Napoleon in France. What on earth have they done to screw it up!??!?!

I can't say it was BAD, just generic. I don't even like Napoleans in general but tried it after I read in the Zagat Disney guide that it was the best outside of France. Never been to France but I can't imagine one being better. Now it's like one you can get at any good bakery in the US.

I hate that they've downgraded the Napolean. I'm really really hoping that it isn't the case with all the other items there...anyone know? Any opinions on other pastries or anything since the re-opening?
