Good morning all!
Sheree-

I hope you have a great day!
Dawn- Way to go!
Jessica- I would say a letter is definitely in order. Our bus system is still run by the school, I have to say, I haven't ever heard good things about a privatized system. They've tried to implement that here a couple of times and enough people said "no way" that it hasn't happened.
Dana- I'm sorry you've been feeling down!

They say exercise is actually a mood lifter...so get out there and walk, girlie!
Jane- The cookies sound good! I need to pick up some applesauce, I have a couple cake mixes to experiment with. Thanks for the well wishes for Piper.
Elizabeth- I'm sorry the Neuro appt was such a waste of your time. I know what you mean about free time, when Piper started school (kindergarten, Drs didn't want her in preschool), I didn't know what to do with my 7 hrs a day! You're going to love it.

: I've tried quinoa and wasn't crazy about the consistancy. I don't get any cooking mags, have been thinking about asking for a subscription for Christmas to a healthy cooking one.
Good day here yesterday, still plugging along on work. It stopped raining about 8:30, so I did get out and do my 4 miles. The early wake-up call is starting to get to both Piper and I, I'm feeling grumpy this morning, and she was not a happy camper last night, lol. She gets to go to bed at 8:30 though, I'm getting there about 10:30-11:00 and running on 6 hrs of sleep. Thank goodness it's almost the weekend! We've gotten into a good routine though, she gets home about 3:45, does meds, does homework, we have dinner, go walking, she showers, and does meds again. I'm getting a lot of info out of her during our walks, which is very cool. She actually goes into detail about her day and doesn't just say "fine" to everything!
Our dinner tonight was Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff..I got the recipe off Spark and it's yummy and super easy! Next time I would actually add more chicken, it makes a ton of sauce..I put in two breasts, and could easily have done 4 and had more leftovers.
1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup
1 16 oz container fat free sour cream
1 can mushrooms
1/2 packet of lipton onion soup mix
1 lb boneless/skinless chicken breasts.
Combine everything except the chicken in the bottom of your crockpot, then put the chicken in. Cook on low 6-7 hrs. Serving is about 1/2 of a breast.
