I don't think you can walk up and get a seat anywhere inside unless it is not busy and there are not already reservations. I don't think they even take your name or let you wait, even if you want to wait. At least it seemed that way in December.

The only places I have had sucess with walk up were in Epcot: Marrakesh at both lunch and dinner and the Japenese Teppanaki place for dinner. We also ate a full lunch at the bar at the Tune in Lounge at Hollywood Studios. At the Boardwalk area Cat Cora's place and EPSN for lunch and dinner at the Boardwalk.

When we were there in June 2013 Beaches and Cream was packed, I swear we had reservations then, I could be wrong. We ate a late lunch/dinner there I enjoyed it. The walk up window was definitely open for all kinds of sundaes and very busy all open hours.

Started in mid December.

We went December 18 (first night of our trip). We could not get an ADR for 8, either online or by calling. We made 2 ADR's for 4 (one from each family). Because the last names were different, they had no idea we were together. They did the best they could, but we ended up with 2 moms and 4 kids in a booth and 2 dads at the counter. Their suggestion was that we should have made two ADR's for 4 under the same last name. I highly doubt that that would have worked, considering how the system cracks down on multiple ADR's. Anyway, that was pretty early, and I am glad that they have sorted out larger parties.

As for the restaurant, it was OK, but we can get just as yummy ice cream around home. Maybe we'll try the Fountain in the Swan/Dolphin some other trip.

I'm ready for them to blow out the game room and make this restaurant a little bigger!

I have been saying the SAME thing for YEARS!! I remember BEFORE they put up the wall between the game room and B+C.:crazy2: Maybe with the place packed with reservations, it will now get someones attention and be enlarged. Joan

We ate there about a week ago. We did a walk up for a party of 2. The cm said that the counter is not part of the adrs. So they are only filled via the walk up system. They had many empty tables while we were there and said they have to hold them open for reservations. It all seemed a little weird that the tables stayed empty during our visit while we ate both a meal and desert. We sit at the counter most of the time. The cms said things will be tweaked along the way but they are trying to get use to it.

Hi, Thanks for posting :). This is just what I was thinking, counter would NOT be included in the ADR system :cool1:. So with just 2 of us we will try for counter seating. pixiedust: Joan
