UGH, when did Airtran release their October schedule, does anyone know? At dinner time I had 4 tickets at $109 each way, great times, non stop flights. The pizza showed up and I forgot until after we watched a movie and by that time, all the price levels on the non stop flights are gone, except the $361 and $435 each way prices!!!!!!!!!!!! I just looked a couple of days ago, and they weren't even selling October yet. Has anyone seen Airtran ever add non-stop flights when they sell out that fast?

Thanks!

I checked late last week and saw "October 2007" come up on the drop down list. I dunno about them adding flight that sell out that fast, maybe they're just messed up and going to load them Monday? (Might be wishful thinking, though.) The F&W festival is in October, so there might be a good chance that the flights are gone.

Can you fly Northwest? I imagine you could find decent prices out of MSP.

They actually had seats again today on our outbound flight to Orlando, so I booked that one, and figure I'll worry about the return flight later I guess. It is teachers conventions here, that's why they sell so fast for that week. Northwest is actually quite pricey out of MSP, over $100 more for the cheapest flights, even more than that for similar direct flights.

MEA week sells out fast, but at least Airtran is fair with their fair. Sun Country and NWA know it is MEA week and jack the price up from the beginning. We got our Airtran flights for MEA last year the day they came out and had a great flight each way.

Happy flying!

I totally agree about Sun Country and NWA and their MEA prices. They know it and they stick it to ya! I would pay Sun Countrys prices (and I have several times) before I pay NWA.

This morning AirTran had the cheap fare again for our flight from Orlando again, so I grabbed that! We are all set now, $109 each way, non stop with great flight times!!! Granted they are both one way, so we'll probably flag security, but oh well.

Last year we skipped Airtran because their non stop flight times were awful, late out of MSP and really early out of MCO. This year we are 9am out of MSP and 2pm out of MCO.

I booked non-stop flights for $69. Next day they were gone and the only non-stop flights were over $300. However, the next day, they had added another non-stop flight for $69. So keep checking back. We're flying from Charlotte, NC. Looks to me like they add a non-stop and when it sells out, they add another.
