When can you make ressie w/add-on points?

At what point in the purchasing process can you make ressies with your add-on points? Is it after they take your desposit, or does all the paperwork have to be finished before you can use the points?

Actually, I need to bank my add-on points into next year, but I would like to make a ressie for the end of next June or the beginning of next July. I haven't received my paperwork yet, either, but the deposit amount has hit my credit card and I've paid that off already.

I added a contract on for BWV on a Thurs and I was able to make a reservation on the next Monday (4days later). If it hadn't been the weekend and if I hadn't needed to have a waiver (I wanted a different use year), I probably could have made a reservation sooner.

It is actually very quick. It probably depends on how quickly your guide get the paperwork in. But I was really surprised the last time I added on that the points were available the next day. I had called to make a reservation and the person told me that this would leave me with X number of points which included my add-on points. So as long as your giving them a CC # and your guide gets the paperwork in quickly, you can probably make them in a few days. They are awful busy now with the ending of BCV and BWV poins and the beginning of SSR.
