When can you book Vero Beach for 2018!?

We wanted to book a vacation for Vero Beach for summer 2018. When I tried to do online I panicked because I thought it was booked already for the dates we wanted. It said the dates weren't available for the party selected. I changed the party size just to see and kept getting the same message. Turns out I found some info that it may not be available to book yet for 2018? I have heard it can be hard to get a room there. This will be our first time, so I was hoping over a year out I would be able to reserve! Any tips or knowledge would be appreciated!

You should be able to book now. Disney allows booking 499 days in advance. It is possible that during the summer it is booked.

Availability works a bit differently at Disney Vacation Club resorts, like Vero Beach. All but a small percentage of the room inventory is owned by the membership, so Disney doesn't have a lot of rooms to put up for cash reservations. They may be holding them back in case they're needed to swap out for room refurbishment, or they may be booked already, or they may wait until the 11 month mark to put them into the reservation system.

I know that doesn't answer your question of "when can I book," but all I can tell you is to keep checking.
