When can we view AKV models at SSR?

Is there a particular time that current members can view the AKV room models at SSR? I won't be adding on, but would like to see the models when we are there in a couple weeks.

We were by the pool and it started to rain so we decided to see if we could look at the model rooms. I'm thinking it was around 2pm. They got us a guide right away, never knew we had a specific time for viewing. OOPS!

Actually the specific time from 5pm to 7pm is to view the rooms that look like SSR. (We were just down the hall.) Our paperwork from checkin said that if you wanted to view AKV you had to make an appointment for a guide to show them to you.

My guess would be so they could sell you an add on?

The AKV FAQs page on the members' website still states that members can view the AKV model rooms from 5pm to 7pm:

Can anyone view the SSR model rooms (i.e. if you are not a member and not staying at SSR, can you just show up and look at the model rooms)??

Also, what type of model rooms do they have there (i.e. studio, 1BR, 2BR, GV)??

Non members need to schedule a appointment with a DVC Guide. It's a painless process and if you just want to see the models you can. The AKV model is a 2 bedroom unit, which is a 1 bedroom and a studio connected. The SSR models have all three.
