When can I transfer points?

I know that I should know the answer to this, but when can I transfer points to another member? Here's the story; Next year (1/13), we are thinking of taking a cruise. In order to pay for the cruise, I would like to make some of our 2012 points available for rent. Our UY is October. Do I have to wait until 10/1/12 in order to transfer those points?

No, you can make that transfer right now into another member's 2012 Use Year. Members may transfer points from the current Use Year and the next Use Year.

Since you are in the 2011 Use Year now you may transfer points from your 2011 UY into another member's 2011 UY and from your 2012 UY into another member's 2012 UY.
