When can I make and ADR for Cinderella's Royal Table?

I know there are calculators online, but I'm getting confused with the announcements of the new reservation system.
I'd like to book lunch for Jan 31, 2009 and will be staying at a Disney Resort (SSR) When can I call to book?

From what I understand, even with the changes, you should still be able to book Cinderella's Royal Table, Victoria and Alberts, and Chef Mickey's at 180 days out. You should be able to make your ADR on August 4th.

If you're staying at a Disney resort, you should be able to reserve it 180 days from your arrival date, so even if it's 184 days for example (if you want CRT your 4th day there), you should be fine.

Call them in the morning 180 days from your arrival date.

Sorry to hijack, but this now confuses me. I have called to make reservations two times for my upcoming trip. Both times I was informed that it had to be 180 days exactly from the date that you wanted to book CRT. I know that sometimes CMs give wrong info, so what is the consensus on this one?
