It looks like you can book quite ahead of time. We just bought a TT and plan on going down in Late June/early July 2016. Thanks!

499 days out from the last day you wish to stay at the resort.

Yes you can and I highly suggest you do so! We are going next November, 370 days from now, and I just looked and I would not be able to get a site for the entire length of my stay now. Really glad I booked back in August!

If you know what dates you want book it as soon as your window opens. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but you get up to 5 days before your trip to cancel for a full refund. Better to book and have to cancel than to not book and not be able to get a site.

I have always paid for one night when I have booked and rest when I arrive at the fort. congrats on the new camper.

Thank you! Is the payment due in full when you book?

PJ,

Yes I have heard recently it's 499 days from last night of stay (used to be from arrival).

A room/campsite only reservation is one night's fee as a deposit as folks have said. You can pay the balance when you check in. However, if you were to buy a package (site, dining, tickets) then you would have to pay a different schedule with full payment due at 45 days before arrival IIRC.

Since most folks bring a camper or a stove/cooler or are staying in the cabins, not many FW guests do the dining plan but there are still some who do (anyone can). Since we campers tend to bring our own beds and kitchens with us from home to WDW, most don't do a package. But it's whatever fits you.

Oh and congrats on the new TT. Pictures? :scratchin
