When booking through sites other than Disney

ok...question. If I book a room through another site (undercover tourist, hotwire, ect) but buy tickets and memory maker through Disney, can I add the dining plan on to my reservation through Disney? Do they make you book the room through Disney in order to add dining? This trip Santa is bringing us giving me Palpitations because at the rate we're going Santa won't be able to afford reindeer chow if I can't catch a good discount somewhere....

The DDP is only available when booking through Disney, so you would not be able to add it if you book through a third party site.

The dining plan can only be added when booking a package directly through Disney or an authorized travel agent. Third party sites such as hotwire, UCT, expedia, orbitz, do not book packages.

Orbitz-15% codes, plus go through ebates portal for cash back.
If undercover tourist gives best discount on tickets-also go through ebates
BJs wholesale club- $100 gift cards for 94.99 online- also though ebates for cash back (best deal I've found on gift cards).
Disney movie rewards- everytime you go to a Disney/Pixar movie or buy one- enter tickets online to earn points- this can take awhile but over past 2 years (since last trip) we cashed out $45 in Disney gift cards.

Bottom line- no need to book a package when can get the same thing done cheaper -if a bit more work
