Always 1st December.

This year will be even better because it will be our little ones first Christmas!
What a coincidence, I put mine up on the 1st December too, and I'm called Michelle. DH won't let me put mine up and earlier either.shellbell said:We always put ours up on the 1st of december. If DH would let me put them up any earlier i wouldI love shopping at the trafford centre

But if it keeps them happy then so be it! I'll put my tree & decorations up on the 12th (12 days before and 12 days after Xmas - the old-fashioned way!). Make a change to the past 3 years - tree went up Christmas Eve when I got back from USA (now I'm starting to get upset yet again! am not going this year!!!)ely3857 said:DF & I have been measuring and re-measuring our living room and have realised the biggest tree we can fit in is 4ft!!!
We have really high ceilings but not a very big room and because of furniture
& radiators etc we cant squeeze a big tree in!
Even the 'slim' trees are too wide so we are getting a 4ft real tree to stand ontop of a side table we have.
As the tree is real it will be going up only a week or two before xmas but I will be putting other decorations up before then.
