When are the Star Wars fireworks at DHS over

Will it be possible to see the first F! Show (we are doing the dinner package) on 2/28 and the fireworks? We want to see both. Suggestions on how to see both?
Anybody have the answer for this? We have a F! package at MM at 3:40 and then F! show at 7:00 pm. The fireworks show is at 8:00 and then a second F! show at 9:00. I assume we will be able to see the fireworks right after the F! show. As long as we don't get killed trying to get out of the F! show and back to a fireworks viewing area!

Yes you should be able to, as Fantasmic should be over around 7:30. Like you said though, most everyone leaving the show will likely be heading towards the Star Wars fireworks. But other than that you shouldn't have an issue seeing both.

Can you hear the music anywhere in HS?

No. Animation Courtyard pumps out Disney music. Echo Lake between 50's and H&V pump out Disney music, but the Star Wars music is loud enough to hear, though the taking part is hard to hear.

Just be warned, you'll likely run into big crowds going from Fantasmic to the fireworks, and therefore not an ideal spot to view.
That is very true. While a stroller can extend the length of day a kids can last, it really hampers you when you want to get from point a to point b in a hurry. Remember that. You really have to work it right to get out of F! to the fireworks if you don't want to be stressed. It might be better to sit at the top, not the bottom for F! exiting purposes. Last night - we managed to hit the jackpot. We scored a 4th FP selection (guest relations booked us for F!) and we sat center stage, midway down. That was strategical error as we lost time just trying to get out of the arena. Then as we moved with the sea of people I was certain we wouldn't get a good spot. As we approached Hollywood Blvd, I could see it was at a standstill with crowds waiting for the fireworks. Not good. But we had a cast member positioned near the pin trader station at the corner of Sunset and Hollywood, direct us to cut right off Sunset in front of the Brown Derby (we had to lift the stroller to get over the curb). We took the small path that cuts under the trees and it dumped us right into the small alcove of the Meet Disney Pals near Center Stage" at the back of the viewing area. With plenty of room, we just pulled in around to the back and set up. It seemed very private. The trees didn't block our view either. We arrived just 7 to 10 minutes before the show and my kids passed out glow sticks to the kids all around us. It was an awesome show and the finale, was chest pounding at that distance. We loved it!! We thought about going to see Illuminations, but seeing one show was enough for my kids. We just scurried our way over to Star Tours for another run!

I wasn't sure how seeing F! then viewing Frozen fireworks would work last summer so we did sit in the back to get out quickly but even those in front at F! had plenty of time to find a spot to watch the fireworks.

That's basically the schedule for almost everyone in the park and Disney has it set up to accommodate that need to a certain extent.

Of course we didn't attempt to get close to the stage to watch the Frozen skit before the fireworks but I think that would have been doable.

There was plenty of time between end of show and beginning of skit to get settled but to make it a bit less aggravating especially if you have little ones sit toward the back. We still had a nice view of F!
