When are cancelled rooms put back into inventory?

I'm not talking about sale rooms but just regular rooms that people cancelled. Are they put out right away or the next morning? I've heard conflicting answers for this over the years.

I believe if your using points right away. I canceled points and they seem to indicate they go right back in.

Unless Disney's system works differently than every other rooms management system out there, as soon as the reservation is canceled it is released to inventory.

I agree and I'm sure it goes right back in inventory.
