We pay ours by credit card automatically and I can't remember when dues are due. Is it UY? For some reason I was think January but my UY is in Dec.

I was looking at resales and many say "no dues till 2011". Which is nice if it is Dec 2011 but just Eh if it is Jan 2011. LOL

Annual Dues are due on January 15, 2010. Late fees and interest will be assessed after February 14, 2010. Statements are sent out after the annual association meeting in December.

That's what I thought. So when a resale says "no dues until 2011" that really is just a sales pitch right? I mean, it isn't like I'm getting the seller to pay annual dues.

Thanks!

It probably means the seller has paid 2010 but doesn't intend to pay 2011.

Dues are based on calendar year, not use year. On some resales, sellers will ask for some or all of the current year dues to be reimbursed to them.

Late December is when Disney will bill all member for the annual dues. The statement says it's due by January 15th. It's actually due no later than February 15th unless you set up a monthly payment with Disney.

Your annual dues are based on a Calendar year and are billed in the beginning of each year. All member are prepaying for their points regardless of the Use Year the Member owns.

But if the seller is on a dues payment plan (when they say they are due in January, that means "if you're paying in full, it's due on this date...if you want to have it withdrawn monthly from your checking account, divide that by 12 and you can pay it through the year") they might still be paying that year's dues, so they *could* ask you to pay the dues once you take it over...(if that's allowed, not sure if it is).
