Have been reading about how the parks are really crowded around Presidents Day Weekend. What exactly is this? We are going Feb 6 - 20. Will this affect us or not? Thanks.

Well, sort of. This year Presidents' Day is February 21st. So the weekend is, for all intents and purposes, Friday the 18th through Monday, the 21st. It's the catch-all holiday in February that used to be split between Lincoln's Birthday, on the 12th, and Washington's, on the 22nd. You'll be there for part of it, but it's the tail-end of your holiday, so you shouldn't be too badly affected by it.

Are you not a resident of the USA? President's Day is a holiday that celebrates the births of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, both of which are in February (16th & 22nd I think, without double-checking). Many folks in the US have an extended weekend or break during that week.

The crowds are going to be low until Friday the 18th, then they go WAY up for Pres. Day weekend.
