When and were do you feel the most relaxed at a DVC resort home?

This post made me smile...because I was JUST thinking the other day how--when I close my eyes and think of being "home"--I instantly see myself walking around the bend in the covered walkway area up to VWL and the front doors slide open......Ahhhhhhhhhhh. To me...that is when I instantly feel I'm home and all is well with the world!

From that first "welcome home" at the entrance gate. There is NOTHING like it. :)

EROS? Is that you?

We enjoy sitting on the balcony at OKW in the evening, with a glass of wine, just enjoying the peace and quite! Of course sitting in the hot tube by the pool, is a close second!

Sitting on the porch at Hilton Head while enjoying a take-out from Captain's Seafood. 6 days and counting until I am there!

2) Having a cigar on the balcony at night - especially at HHI where it's really peaceful.

Would that be in a smoking room, or non-smoking room?

;) ;) ;)

But, if I ever put on a Speedo, I suspect DVC would have to invoke some sort clause to put a quick end to such an offensive sight!

last time I tried on a Speedo, everyone got all upset!! How the heck was I supposed to know their was a front side and a backside?!? ;) ;)

For us, the most relaxed would have to be at Vero Beach. Probably in the middle of the morning before it gets too hot, sitting in a beach chair, watching the kids play in the sand and the surf. Sometimes it's late at night, swimming in the pool looking at the stars and hearing the waves crash on the beach. We love out WDW time, but for relaxation, it's Vero for us.

What does that phrase mean ? Dawn ? I've never heard that description.

I figured it meant watching the first missile of the morning hit Bahgdad. LOL!!

First, I thought it was a reference to Cape Canaveral and watching the rockets lift off from the distance ( I don't know if they are even visible from that distance; then I realized that the s and d keys are next to each other on the keyboard...

Of course, most of you are probably way ahead of me here.

most relaxed when I'm in the big king bed at 11:00am..drinking my 3rd cup of coffee...watching TV-the DVC sales channel (for the 27th time)...not having to get dressed because the maid is knocking at the door. Wondering if we should have breakfast, or move on to lunch.;)

After strolling back from watching Illuminations, walking a lap around Crescent Lake, then back to your nice AC villa (BWV) to relax on the balcony with a little cheese and fruit and your favorite frosty beverage. Then when it time to turn into a pumpkin, snuggle into the bed and watch Disney TV, while planning your great big beautiful tomorrow!

If you can see them at OKW ( you can and I have) you can definitely see them from Vero.
