When all parks are a 10/10, what do you do?

I understand the ins and outs of park touring and picking days, but when you go during a busy time (spring break) how do you chose when to go to each park if all the parks are 10/10 for crowds? In general is an EP 10/10 less crowded than an MK 10/10?? Any tips/opinions are appreciated!

A 10/10 for crowd doesn't mean much in my opinion. Any time of the year, all of the "popular" attractions will have about an hour or more waits. I do my planning based on what dining I can get, and what shows I want to see. If you are wanting to hit the "big" rides during a busy time, be at the park about 30 minutes before rope drop. That can usually give you a less than an hour wait on most of the big rides, but it's also good to just get those out of the way. Then you can enjoy the rest of the park the rest of the day. I would make a list of what restaurants you want to eat at (if you are planning on doing table service), and where you want to be at night to see a certain show. Also, if you are staying at a resort hotel, take advantage of morning or evening Extra Magic Hours.

I would say that the worst park would depend on what rides you wish to ride. If you are only going for the big rides then HS or Epcot might be the worst as MK had many more rides to spread out the people. I agree that the best plan is to get to the park at least 30 minutes before park opening. Sometimes they will open the parks 10 to 15 minutes early depending on the crowds waiting to enter so the earlier the better. Our plan when we go during Christmas week or Spring break is to use all early EMH options, be there well before park opening, and usually leave around lunch time to head back for pool time at the resort.

Rope Drop. Strategic fast passing. Enjoy smaller attractions. Get a snack and people watch. Leave and catch some pool time or a nap. Xmas week is one of our favorite times to go. It's all about attitude and reasonable expectations.

It's been awhile, but we do rope drop, leave by 10 -10:30, and cook a big brunch back in the villa. A swim, a cocktail, a nap, and evening in a park. Those are some fun days!

If you think all parks are going to be the most crowded as they can be, then just go to where you want to ride rides and be.

I'd look at touring plans on Easy Disney crowd calendar.

Take advantage of rope drop and FP. Go back to the resort to relax and swim midday. Back to the parks at night. We were there this past spring break when everyday was supposedly 9 and 10 according to the calendars and with some planning we were able to do and see everything despite the crowds.

Yes. The week between Christmas and New Years. We follow the recommendations of easywdw and park hop if necessary. You just have to stay ahead of the crowds.

If you are talking about how crowded the park feels, EPCOT and AK are bigger, so they might feel less crowded. If it's rides your concerned with, do rope drop and expect that you may not get to do everything.

Even on a 10 day on the EasyWDW calendar, there will be a most recommend to least recommended park. That's what I'd go by.

We often end up having to go the week leading up to Easter and on many of those days every park is a 10. This is when EMH and rope-dropping is a must. You will get more rides in during the 60 minutes of EMH and the 30 minutes right after than most of the rest of the day.

We ride mid-level rides during EMH (usually 8-9:00) and early morning--until about 9:30--and then switch to our fastpasses. We do all three before lunch, maybe squeezing in an extra ride or two at anything that has a wait of less than 20-25 min. Then enjoy a leisurely lunch in the park. After lunch is shows or rides that don't usually have any waits (which on a "10" day WILL have a wait) and then back to the resort around 2:30/3:00 to swim and relax. We head back to the parks for dinner (6:30?) and then to see fireworks/Illuminations/etc.

It can be enjoyable, you just have to be prepared that you will not be able to ride every attraction you want to, except for your FP rides and the 2-3 you decide are a priority ahead of time to focus on EMH. The other ones you get to are all bonus.
