when airlines raise prices... last minute

I need to buy a ticket to fly out next weekend but I won't have the money in my account until Monday. How likely is it that the price will go up before monday?

Very likely.

Discount tickets have 21, 14 and 7 day advance purchase deals. You will not get any of them. I recently purchased a ticket, 7 days in advance it was $400. The next day almost $800. Even SW requires a 7 day advance for it's cheap fares.
