When a thread title says "off topic" on the community board...

Hmmm, never thought of that. I spend too much time here, and I frequently see brand new threads on the CB with the "OT" in the title, too. Always makes me giggle

Me too. I think that the people who do that don't think we talk about anything other than Disney. I have seen it on the budget board, where the OP will state OT, but it is a budget themed thread, and on the family board too.

I always wonder why anyone writes "Off Topic" or "OT" anyway . Isn't it obvious from the topic that it is not about whatever the topic of the specific forum is? Does putting "OT" in your title somehow give you a magic pass for writing about things that aren't on topic .

Nobody wants to get branded with one of these in their threads
They are just letting people know that they already know its OT so don't be a pill and point it out
